IRIS CEO, Mike Giallombardo, announced to the Advisory Board on March, 18, 2024 that IRIS was awarded a contract with the North Carolina Sheriff's Association Technology Procurement Program for 2024-2025. " This award allows for agencies in NC and beyond the ability to procure IRIS via an already vetted process" stated Mr. Giallombardo.
The Technology Procurement Program is part of the NCSA Cooperative Purchasing Programs. Per the NCSA website, "The goal of the NCSA’s Technology Procurement Program, is a cooperative bid program that achieves competitive pricing on equipment that county and city government agencies purchase, including but not limited to software, hardware, and technology products. The association’s program helps to eliminate duplication of effort through the creation of one statewide bid that can be used by all counties and municipalities throughout the United States."
